Uppsala Business & Economics Students Association is a student union at the Business, Economics and Statistics departments and an association for economics students, by economics students. But regardless of what you are studying you are always welcome. Membership is free.

About the union

Uppsala Business & Economics Students Association is a student union at the Business and the Economics departments. The association was founded in 1971 and has around 2000 members where 350 are involved in one of the 80 projects we arrange every year. Our activities are divided into three areas: studies, leisure and future.

Studies
As a student union the ultimate purpose of Uppsala Business & Economics Students Association’s is to monitor and improve the education at the Business and the Economics departments. As a student you can turn to us with questions regarding your education. We also arrange education related projects such as study sessions in exam periods.

Leisure
Uppsala Business & Economics Students Association has many social activities such as dinner parties, theme parties and sports activities. Our biggest social event is our Welcoming Weeks where each semester circa 300 students are introduced to Uppsala and student life.

Future
Uppsala Business & Economics Students Association aims to give our members the best possible opportunities after their studies and we arrange many events connecting our students with relevant employers. Among the events there are business trips to Copenhagen and Frankfurt, case competitions, company visits, and our annual career fair Kontaktdagarna.
